The body is customized by adding oversize flanges to them. The jackets guarantee constant valve heating or cooling of the process media to avoid crystallization or seizing of flow media and it applies especially to media like bitumen and liquid sulfur. These valves are tested after the jackets are welded to the body. The heat transfer rate of these valves up to 150 psi (10 bar).
